My friend Sarah recently announced that she is pregnant with her third child. (Yay!)

“Eden do you know that Sarah has a baby in her tummy?”

“She does?! Is it a girl”

“We don’t know yet, we have to wait for the baby to get bigger before we can know if it’s a girl or not. Right now it’s really tiny, but it will grow and grow and when it’s big enough, it will come out of her tummy.”

-Thoughtful pause-

“Does the baby have clothes on?”

“Nope, the baby comes out naked.”

“Well, the baby must be cold then.”

The other day the kids were at the store with me and a customer asked Eden what she was going to be for Halloween. I told her that we don’t really celebrate Halloween to which Eden replied, “We don’t really like the devil.”

Does God know everything?

Yep.

Why?

Because God it the boss.

I thought you were the boss?

“You’re a good girl Eden.”
“You love me even if I’m naughty huh?”
“Yep!”
“Just like God, he loves me even if I’m naughty too.”
“That’s right.”

Me: “Don’t hit me with your head, it hurts my little boob.”

Eden: “That’s not a little boob, it’s a big boob.”

Yesterday Eden walked out of the bathroom and said to me, “Mom, my butt just exploded.”

Later on that day the light bulb burned out in the bathroom and she came and told me, “Mom, the batteries died in the bathroom.”
