photos from the backyard (lots of them)
The kids would spend every waking second in the backyard, but sometimes they have to come in for a bath or a nap. They live a rough life.
the bug keeper
Over the weekend my mom gave Honor a little bug keeper with tweezers and a magnifying glass and the kids had a great time collecting bugs to put in it. Luckily there are no cockroaches at my moms house.
Last Sunday it was 70 degrees here. Friday it started snowing and snowed off and on all the way through Sunday. It was quite a strange change in weather, and pretty unusual for here – Daffodils have already started to bloom. You just never know what you’re going to get in Colorado.
I had to go work at the yarn store, but Jim bundled up the kids and took them out to the backyard to make a snowman. Unfortunately he didn’t get any pictures of their creation, but I did get a few photos of the kids when they started piling on the layers to go outside.
nap time
Snow day!
It actually snowed last night. Not quite enough to make a snow man (it was still powdery when we were out there anyway) but enough to make a snow bird and a snow angel. It’s almost all already gone… stinking Western Colorado.
All Honor really cared to do with the snow was eat it, he even resorted to laying down on and eating it directly from the ground. mmmm…
Here’s the long awaited snow bird being made.
And the old folks.
The kiddies
Thank you all for participating in my hair drama with me. I know that I promised better pictures today, but that means that I have to commit to taking a shower, and that’s just a little too much.
But I can show you photos of the kids, because I got my iphoto fixed.
Eden with her very best friend, Alannah, who is over a head taller than her and 2 months younger.
Honor was slowly transferring the whole sandbox onto the patio using these two legos.
Today I am busy getting the invitations for Fiesta Blevinza out. I wish you all lived close enough to come! (if you are close, email me.)
I finally gave in and started using flickr
Check out our picnic at the park last weekend.
