random Monday
• The chandelier is finished, but we had a snag with the new light hardware I bought and I need to go to Home Depot and cross my fingers that I can actually find someone to help me before the light can be completed and hung.
• I’m working a whole bunch over the next week so I can take a little va-cay. This includes our superbowl sale on Sunday. I’m really excited about the postcards we created for the occasion.
• Yesterday whilst shopping at evil-walmart, I came across a woman screaming horrible profanities at her small children because they wouldn’t choose a bag of chips fast enough. I was so shocked that I didn’t regain my ability to speak until after she had left the aisle. I looked for her in the store so I could give her a good talking-to but never found her. People, it was so heartbreaking, I nearly burst into tears right in the middle of the chip aisle.
• Sometime this week Tangle will receive our first shipment of Noro. Our customers are so excited I wonder if we will sell out in the first week?

some people shouldn’t be parents, do you think? I looked at the picks of Tangle and that is soooo cool. You must be so proud to have such a lovely looking store!

Love the Super Bowl cards… to cute and clever! Keep up the good work!!
In regards to the Wal Mart lady… I work in the ER and see this horrible stuff every day and it is heartbreaking… it truely makes me thankful for what I have and the fact that I know what is right and what is wrong… imagine what probably goes on in this womans home!

that is such a cute postcard and how horrible for a mother to scream profanity at a small child. I would of gotten security!

You might be able to get some help at Home Depot if you go in by yourself and look cute and act helpless… just sayin’ ;-)
That’s really a bummer about the mom at WM, and I admire your resolve to confront her. I wouldn’t have known what to do.

OMG! I love the football cozie you have to submit that to craftster, they had a contest awhile back for cozies with irony, that would have made a good entry.
As for the woman at Walmart, that store does bring out the ‘best’ in people I truly hope the reason you couldn’t find her is she realized she had lost it completely and left to regain her sanity and apologize to her kid.
