lunch

When Carrie and I arrived in NYC, we had been traveling all day and still had to ride the airtrain to the subway and then ride into the city. (BTW, having never ridden on the subway, I didn’t understand the importance of holding on and went flying the first time the train took off.) When we finally made it into the city we found our way to a Starbucks. I was starving and feeling kind of weird from my motion sickness Rx and I found an amazing little pack of protein rich foods. It was like the best meal I’d ever eaten and I still think about my life-saving little snack at that NYC Starbucks.

A mini whole wheat bagel
cheese
a hard boiled egg
a small pack of peanut butter
apples and grapes

This week I’m all about recreating this little combo for my lunches at work. This is my last “regular” work week at the store and then we’re on summer hours. I’m ready for that, fo sho.
