Hats and double stockinette
Here’s a little sample of the double stockinette, it’s the same on both sides. Quite fantastic if I do say so myself.
Sorry for the poor pic quality.
And I’ve been churning out hats like a mad woman. The first two are the Hot Head pattern from Stitch n Bitch. The last is a variation of Kims Hats from Last Minute Knitted Gifts and the top of the hat.
Only two hats, one scarf and one poncho to go. Do you think I’ll make it?

Yes, you will make it! I just love that green hat…. Maybe you can share that pattern with me later (after the christmas rush of course.)
And I want you to know that I am holding you responsible for the fact that I am looking at “The Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needle kit” online right now. Can I tell my husband that this is your fault?

Very cool, Allison – you are a knitting fool! I like the last hat the best. That little spiral-like pattern is great. On that double stockinette stitch – does it actually form a tube?
Joelene – I have that Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needle Kit. I got it from angoracottage.com. The woman who runs the online store is wonderful. She lives near me and actually delivered my order to me, for free! I’m not sure where you’re looking but I think I found angoracottage.com to be quite reasonable for the Denise kit, even compared to Ebay.
