de ja vu

Eden messed up her face again. I swear, she’s going to look like a boxer by the time she’s 6. It seems all her injuries involve her falling from great heights. Luckily this one didn’t end us up in the emergency room. She climbed ON TOP of her little kitchen and then either jumped or fell off hitting the corner of her eye on a sharp toy. That kid is a monkey. Today, her eye is still swollen, but I think she’s going to be ok.

If we can make it though this week with everyone intact, we’ll be doing great. Three more days until the fiesta, I think we’re going to make it!

    Poor thing! She is quite the Adventure Girl, isn’t she?

    Be sure you take pictures of the fiesta for me. I wish I could be there–all the fiestas in Minnesota take place on frozen lakes. Fun, but it’s really hard to party in a parka.

    I was nicknamed monkey when I was Eden’s age, for the same reasons and I turnrd out okay. I think?

    I think the best way to handle this is when people ask you if you beat your children, just say, “yes, yes I do.” That’ll shut em down right quick won’t it?

    Emma is one giant bruise. She has had more “near misses” with er visits than any kid I know!

    recipe for salad!

    Head of romaine or preferred lettuce thing.

    Craisins

    Blue cheese or Gorgonzola, crumbled

    Toasted slivered almonds (you have to buy bulk and toast yourself to save $$)

    Cesear dressing or preferred.

    OMG!! Poor baby! I can’t believe she is that brave. My daughter is 3 1/2 and still scared to death of heights! Watch out, you got a wild one on your hands…haha!
